THE MEANING OF YOGA

From the Sanskrit root “yuj” meaning “union” or “bond”, yoga indicates the set of techniques aimed at reuniting the body, mind and individual soul (Jīva) with the universal soul understood as pure awareness (Brahman). Through the practice of postures preparatory to physical health with breathing techniques (Prāṇāyāma) and meditation (Dhyāna), yoga contributes to achieving a psycho-physical balance and a state of peace and spiritual harmony.

Jyotir Vinyāsa Yoga

This style includes Asāna, breathing techniques (Prāṇāyāma) and meditation techniques (Dhyāna) that draw from the classical tradition of Swami Sivananda, blend with the most dynamic configurations of contemporary Yoga, fueling a fluid dance that strengthens the presence (vi) in change (nyāsa). Immersing oneself in a deep path of inner change, the practitioner is pervaded by a state of serenity and peace from the first sun salutations, perceiving an improvement in psycho-physical balance. Hari Om Tata Sat!

Prāṇāyāma e Meditazione

In this class, basic techniques such as diaphragmatic breathing and retention breathing after inhalation/exhalation (Antāra/Bāhya Kumbhaka) are practiced, learning the art of lengthening the time intervals in which they take place. Alternate nostril breathing (Nāḍī Shodhana) and other techniques such as Kapālabhātī and Bhastrikā are practiced.

The phase dedicated to Prāṇāyāma is preparatory to immersing oneself in the meditative phase, learning to gradually disidentify from the psycho-physical apparatus, to access the highest dimensions of consciousness.

Journey into the Yoga Sutras of Patañjali

Cycle of in-depth seminars on the 196 aphorisms that make up the “Yoga Sūtra of Patañjali” divided into four books: 1) Samādhi Pāda (book of contemplation or “en-tasi”), 2) Sādhana Pāda (book of practice and method), 3) Vibhūti Pāda (book of properties and powers), 4) Kaivalya Pāda (book of emancipation and freedom).
After a session dedicated to reading, studying and deepening the sutras that constitute the oldest scientific treatise on psychology in history, we will immerse ourselves in a session of deep meditation.

Mark Kan Yoga

The class, based on Dharma Mittra lineage, includes asana and transitions to master more advanced asana, in addition to pranayama techniques, according to a sequence creatively formulated by Mark, in order to enhance one’s own self-study practice, contributing to mental steadiness and inner peace.

Rocket Vinyasa Yoga

The Vinyasa Rocket is a form of dynamic contemporary yoga which provides a varied set of postures coordinated with breathing that feed a fluid and creative dance.

The Vinyasa Rocket is a dynamic and fast style, known for its fluctuation. Full of activities that strengthen the upper part of the body such as inversions, balancing of the arms, twisting of the spine, etc. it will invigorate and awaken the whole nervous system.

Mantra Masterclass

This type of masterclass, which consists of asanas, breathing techniques (Prāṇāyāma) and meditation techniques (Dhyāna), is accompanied by japa, the repetition of specific mantras, chosen from time to time, to enrich the yogic humus of that particular event.

Japa can help the yogin consolidate his devotional attitude (bhakti) as well as his constancy in practice (Abhyāsa). The co-created symphonies echoing in one’s souls, accompany the experiences of each in a timeless musical dimension.

Yoga Therapy

The yogatherapy protocol is structured as follows: a preliminary cognitive interview with the interested person, followed by specific sessions in which an ad hoc path is designed in which psychological interviews alternate with breathing and postural yoga exercises and the teaching of meditation and visualization techniques.

A wide range of conditions can be alleviated and managed through personalized practice which can convey many benefits including improved self-esteem and emotional stability, improved attention and memory, reduction of stress and anxiety, improvement of the quality of life, promotion of personal and spiritual transformation.

Dialoghi con l'anima

The proposed session is part of Powermind, an experiential program for the search for awareness through deep meditation created by Claudio Kailash Gallone.

Different meditation techniques will be tested in order to learn the path that best suits your Self. From shamanic yoga, to active meditations with the body in movement, to those in pairs, to simply being with your breath to feel your soul and that of the world.
